There has been announcement from both DiGi and Maxis that they’re officially carrying Apple’s latest iPhone 4 starting from Today (24/09/2010). Its a good news to all iPhone users out there in Malaysia although none of the Telco sells iPhone without any contracts at the moment. Which, isn’t a good deal for the foreigners like me. Since we have to bare for some amount of deposit to get a postpaid line.

Here I’ll be sharing with you how to install Canon LBP 2900 on Mac OS X. Although OS X could detect it, it won’t work.
By default, there isn’t any official driver provided by Canon for OS X. You’ll need this two file: CAPT.zip & CAPT V170.dmg from Canon. Download them and save it in a convenient place.
1. Disconnect your printer
2. Go to “/Library/Printers” and check if there’s a “Canon” folder, if no, create one.
3. Unzip CAPT.zip and copy the whole folder to “/Library/Printers/Canon”
4. Now install the CAPT V170.dmg and reboot
5. Connect the printer, switch it on and you should be able to see it in the “Print & Fax”
