MSDNAA: Servers down?
Update: Now there’s a notice saying there are maintenance going on at 7AM EST.
Update2: Now it seems MSDNAA is up again. Just re-download the downloader and begin the download. No error for me.
I’ve been trying to install MS SQL Server 2008 with the installer from MSDN Academic Alliance (MSDNAA) but it keep on giving me error “The drive root is not a valid location” no matter which location I chose. According to this site, they said MSDNAA will be down until further notice. Seems I gotta try again in tomorrow morning.
MSDNAA is for colleges and schools allowing students to download Microsoft products such as Windows, Visual Studio, Office, MS SQL Servers and so on for educational use for free.

Today I read “The site will be going down for maintenance at 07:00 (EST). Please complete any transactions or work before this time to ensure that you do not lose any information.”
What is this?
