There has been announcement from both DiGi and Maxis that they’re officially carrying Apple’s latest iPhone 4 starting from Today (24/09/2010). Its a good news to all iPhone users out there in Malaysia although none of the Telco sells iPhone without any contracts at the moment. Which, isn’t a good deal for the foreigners like me. Since we have to bare for some amount of deposit to get a postpaid line.

Anyways, lets have a glance at the pricing right now. It seems like Digi’s iPhone plan is cheaper than the one from Maxis. But to be honest, I’m having a hard time trying to understand the Digi’s pricing plan. Maxis has more straight forward way of presenting rate plans. Have a look here and you decide. But, Maxis is accepting trade-ins for your old iPhone at their centers. Not known what are the requirements though. See Maxis’s tweet.

Yes, that means Microsims are available from both Maxis and Digi but you might gotta sacrifice your Celcom sim for the shiny new device.

Me? I guess I’ll be sticking to my iPhone 3Gs which I bought it back in May unless some miracle happens like someone wants to sponsor me a new one =P

Maxis is right now doing an iPhone 4 grand launching event at the Gardens, Mid Valley.

And, oh, here’s a tip for itchy iPhone 4 wanted customers out there. Make sure you guys check your units carefully when you got it and make sure it doesn’t have any problems like faulty proximity sensor, faulty microphone, camera not working [One of my friend is having such problem at this moment] and so on. I’m sure nobody wants a sealed broken/faulty iPhone. Read more here.
